Our verdict:

I believe you have read the specifications of this device and it seems all good. The device is Strong, decent build quality, good battery, nice camera – worth the money.

While the both cameras are good, we seem disappointed in the front facing camera. Though it aint bad at all but it didnt reach expectation as hyped. It didnt match the back camera though they are both claimed to be 13MP each. Funny enough, The Camon C9 which is hyped as a Camera phone doesnt come with camera settings. There is no ‘settings’ option on the camera which lets users adjust camera resolutions, adjust ISO, White balance, image contrast, Exposure etc except for the regular features like panorama, HDR, gesture shot. This actually brings about a thumb down.

For a phone like this, we didnt expect to see a 1.3Ghz processor again. It sucks, though the octa-core and 2GB RAM are good to write home about as they aid the multitasking needs arising daily from smartphone users..

Maybe because of the phone I use, I am not a fan of any battery capacity less than 4000MAh. But the Tecno C9 Battery of 3000MAh aint bad. Infact, the battery lasts longer than I think and takes away my wrong assumption about phones with such battery capacity, though all thanks to the HiOS which helps a great deal to save battery with its battery management tool which.

All thanks to the HiOS once again. There is no lock screen notification on the device.
